Navigating the PhD Journey – Doctoral Seminar at the Jackstädt Center
Last week, the Jackstädt Center hosted the doctoral seminar “Navigating the PhD Journey,” led by Prof. Dr. Julia de Groote, Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research at the University of Wuppertal.
The seminar focused on the “unwritten rules” of academia, strategies for academic publishing, and ways to build a successful career within and outside of academia.
We were pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Julia Backmann (University of Münster) as a guest speaker. Her contributions provided valuable insights for the exchange on the connection between research and practice as well as the strategic development of grant applications.
The event underscored the Jackstädt Center's commitment to promoting young scientists and strengthening an active research community at the Schumpeter School of Business and Economics.
