At the end of the year, we have the opportunity to look back on the important developments and new beginnings at the Jackstadt Centre. In many respects, 2025 marked a phase of development, profile building and setting the course for the coming years in entrepreneurship and innovation research.

At the end of the year, we have the opportunity to look back on the important developments and new beginnings at the Jackstadt Centre. In many respects, 2025 marked a phase of development, profile building and setting the course for the coming years in entrepreneurship and innovation research.

A key milestone was the establishment of the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research and the appointment of Prof Dr Julia de Groote. This created an important foundation for the centre's future research activities. The Jackstadt Centre was also represented at leading national and international conferences in the field of management and entrepreneurship research, including the "Academy of Management Annual Meeting" in Copenhagen, the "G-Forum 2025" in Stuttgart and the "DIW Berlin Workshop Entrepreneurship & Organisation".

The research centre was also further strengthened in terms of personnel with the addition of two junior researchers. The focus here is on expanding research into entrepreneurial ecosystems and the sustainable transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Looking ahead to an active and ambitious 2026, several research projects are already in preparation or underway, with the aim of contributing to both scientific debate and the transfer of knowledge into practice.

The Jackstadt Centre would like to thank all colleagues and cooperation partners for the trust they have placed in us, the constructive collaboration and the inspiring exchanges over the past year.
We would also like to extend our best wishes for a relaxing holiday season and a successful start to the new year.
